We are a busy congregation as we (hopefully) are easing out of this pandemic!

We have resumed in-person worship for those who are comfortable to come. Some modifications include the installation of an air purification system in the sanctuary and we’ve been keeping the front side doors open for increased circulation. We continue to wear masks and sit socially distanced, exiting from the back of the church forward to minimize proximity. Other changes include using our individual, disposable, communion cups that in the past were used to provide in-home communion. We continue sharing our worship live on Facebook in addition to having a covered, outdoor worship space with big speaker for those who are more comfortable continuing additional precautions or who are not able to join us in person on Sunday morning.

Pastor Kristina is leading a new study that is provided on Zoom on Wednesdays at noon: Unclobber 

Jesus invited his followers to question, rethink and reimagine their relationships with one another and God. We, too, are invited to work
through our faith and read scripture as we seek to better understand our relationships with neighbors, friends, family and God. This multi-week course is designed to facilitate questions surrounding human sexuality. What does the Bible have to say about our LGBTQIA+ siblings? Is homosexuality a sin? Explore these questions and more in a safe and non-judgmental space. We will dwell in scripture and use the textbook, “UnClobber” by Colby Martin (ISBN 78-0664262211- paperback or ebook)

The Call Committee is continuing the process as we seek someone to be our permanent pastor.

The Bethany Merger committee is meeting with our neighbors at Bethany Lutheran to work to understand their needs and the beautiful possibilities of our congregations joining in ministry as one in our community.

The 100 Year Anniversary planning committee is working on details and plans as we celebrate 100 years of service as a congregation in our community. July 22-24, 2022 will be an extra special weekend and the “main event” of our celebration!
