Fall is almost here!
School is in full swing and we are looking forward to some cooler temperatures! We hope you’ll be able to join us for some of our upcoming events!
September 29 – Brunch Bunch after church. We’ll gather in the parlor to get a head count and choose and restaurant and head out for lunch together.
October 5 – 4:30pm Blessing of the Animals! Friendly pets are welcome to join us for this special time as we remember they are part of God’s creation, too! They are special to us and we affirm our responsibility and love for them and pray for blessings. All are invited to stay for a family-friendly cook-out to follow!
October 5 – 5:00pm – potluck family cook-out: Bring a side dish or dessert to share and whatever you’d like cooked on the grill and join us for a relaxing time of fellowship and fun! Weather permitting we’ll have seating available outside for friendly pets to stay and join the fellowship.
October 20 – Octoberfest! Join us for a German food-themed potluck lunch after church! Susan & Tim Wrobbel are providing Bratwurst and German potato salad! Bring side dishes or desserts to share and join the fun! German attire is welcome! Lederhosen anyone?

October 31 – 6:00pm – Trunk-or-Treat – Rain or Shine! We’ll gather in the front drive with our trunks facing out and loaded with candy and treats for trick-or-treaters! This has become a fun annual tradition! Costumes welcome! Come join us!
November 17 – Brunch Bunch – we’ll move it up a week to clear the way for Thanksgiving!
November 24 – Thanks-for-Giving pot-luck & cookie exchange Turkey and ham will be provided! Bring side dishes and desserts to share for this special family feast. And don’t forget to fill up a container or two of cookies at the cookie exchange! All bakers are invited to bring a batch or two of cookies to share. We spread them all out and containers are available for $5 or $10 – simply go around the table and choose what you’d like to fill up!
