August 2018 – it’s a busy month!

As summer winds down we’re just getting started!

We’re getting the school year off the a great start! It begins with our second annual Fashion Show benefiting White Rock Center of Hope on Saturday August 4th, 3-5 pm. Tickets are $10 and are available at the door. Enjoy a cupcake or two as we enjoy WRCOH fashion & fellowship.

Saturday, August 18 we dive into our Back to School Bash, 9am-2pm. This carnival-style event includes free school supplies, carnival games, a bounce house, 3 food trucks, Scholastic book fair, dog rescue groups, and more! See full details here.

Rally Day, Sunday, August 19! After a fun-filled day on Saturday, we’ll kick off our Sunday school year, too. All ages are encouraged to meet in the Sanctuary at 9:00 for some special time with blessings and sing-a-longs before we go to our classrooms for a light breakfast. Adults will enjoy some fellowship as we catch up on summer activities and look forward to class planning for the fall. Our youth and elementary kids will enjoy breakfast, too, while we catch up with each other and play a few more carnival games. All youth are encouraged to bring your backpacks with you to church for a blessing of the backpacks during the 10:30 worship service.
