The school year is winding down! As we prepare for summer, we have many opportunities in May & early June:
May 3rd – National Day of Prayer! Our church doors will be open 6:00AM – 7:00pm for members, neighbors, and friends to come by for some personal time for prayer. There will also be a brief prayer service led by Pastor Rich in the Chapel at noon. Any members who would like to volunteer to be here a shift or two throughout the day can contact Jenny Pickett or Anne Monson.
May 5 – 2nd annual Charlie Oldfield Memorial Spring Golf Tournament at the Old Brickyard (605 N. I-45, Ferris, TX 75125)
Shotgun start is at 8:30am, check in at the pro shop 30 minutes prior. $40 fee covers unlimited game balls, green fees, cart, prizes, and cheeseburger lunch! Register with Ted Steinke (ts@tedsteinke.com) – register now to hold your spot! Space is limited to 40 people!
May 6 – Youth Kickball Day!
Youth of all ages are invited to join us after church for lunch and a fun game of kickball!

May 20 – Youth car wash & hotdog lunch after church.
Bring your car during the Sunday School hour or after church for a good cleaning! Enjoy visiting in the shade of Oak Alley while enjoying a hot dog lunch and waiting for your car. All proceeds will go toward the youth’s summer trip to the National Youth Gathering in Houston.
June 8 & 9 – Operation Salvage, church-wide garage sale
We all have those “treasures” we no longer use! Bring them on up to the church for the sale! Items can be stored in the shed at the church until June 3 or brought to the Parish Hall the week of June 3-7 for pricing. The sale will be Friday 8am-5pm and Saturday 8am-noon. Volunteers are welcome to help with pricing during the week and to help during the days of the sale!
