Classes to Focus on Life and Teaching of Luther
Beginning September 17, at 9 a.m., in the Fellowship Hall, you will have the opportunity
to attend a six-week class on the life and theology of Martin Luther. The class will be
taught by Pastor Rich, who has spent a lifetime in study of Luther and his times.
As an added bonus, one Sunday will be devoted to Katie Luther. Don’t miss this
opportunity as we prepare for the celebration of the 500th anniversary of the Beginning
the Reformation in October.

Sept. 24, Larry McCain will present a program on Luther and his music.
Oct. 1: “Martin the Monk.”
Oct. 8: “The Struggle to Find a Gracious God.”

September 24 – Spaghetti lunch & “bridal shower”
A fabulous crew performed a much needed (& greatly appreciated!) deep clean-out of the kitchen this summer! They got rid of a lot of old, banged up, and unusable kitchen items! We have registered at Target with a wish list of needed items for the kitchen! October 1st – Youth Yuk “night” in the middle of the afternoon!
All youth are invited to bring a change of clothes to get messy & stay for lunch after church. Food, fun, games…. & mess!

Nov 5 – Veteran’s Day Ceremony
Details are in the works for a special Veteran’s Day recognition ceremony led by scouts from our congregation and chartered troop – 861! It will be right before or right after the worship service
Nov 19 – “Thanks for Giving” potluck
Lunch and our annual cookie exchange. Bring a side dish and/or dessert and take home a container (or 2!) of assorted cookies of your choice! The congregation members are invited to bring a batch of your favorite holiday cookies to include in the cookie exchange.
