Join us for worship every Sunday at 10:30 AM, both in person at 1000 Easton Rd., Dallas, TX 75218 and online via Facebook at facebook.com/CentralLutheranDallas. You don’t need a Facebook account to view our livestreams, which remain available for viewing after the service, allowing you to watch at your convenience.

During the seasons of Advent and Lent, we offer special Wednesday evening worship services accompanied by a soup supper, starting at 6:00 pm. We invite you to join us for these meaningful gatherings! Check our upcoming events page for updates.

Our Sunday services typically last around one hour, while the Wednesday Advent and Lent vespers are approximately half an hour.

Our main parking area is situated behind the building, with limited spaces available in front. Additionally, we have eight accessible parking spots available in the back of the building for your convenience.

Designated accessible parking spaces are available. They are located behind the buildings in our large parking lot or near the Parish Hall on the South side of the building.

During worship in the sanctuary, we have a couple considerations. Hearing assistive devices are available for use in the sanctuary. Ask an usher if you would like to use one during Sunday worship. For those who may find it helpful, we offer larger-print bulletins to assist with reading the prayers.

We have spacious restrooms with grab bars. We have three single-occupancy gender neutral restrooms. One is located in the Parish Hall, one is in the nursery, and one is in between classrooms 201 and 204.

Due to their construction in the 1950s and 1960s, our buildings do not fully comply with ADA standards. For instance, although we do have ramps leading to the sanctuary, they may not meet the recommended slope requirements.

Our worship focuses on historic Christianity and follows a traditional liturgical style thoughtfully woven into a modern context.  Liturgy is a predetermined order of service that keeps worship consistent from week to week. We have a three-year rotating calendar of which Bible passages we focus on. Our services draw from the rich traditions of liturgical worship, placing a strong emphasis on congregational singing accompanied by piano or organ. Preaching is centered on the Bible. We use a printed bulletin and recite the Lord’s Prayer and creeds like the Apostles’  and Nicene Creeds. We invite you to join us in this sacred practice as we come together in reverence and joy.

Here's what to expect from a Sunday service:

  1. All are welcome to pick-up a bulletin from our greeters as they enter into the space. These bulletins have the order of worship on it and details that might be helpful for first-time worshippers and returners alike.
  2. We use “Evangelical Lutheran Worship” which is the current primary liturgical and worship guidebook and hymnal for use in the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America.
  3. Central Lutheran has an Open Table, welcoming everyone to share in communion, regardless of beliefs. If you prefer to remain in your seat or would like to come forward and receive a blessing instead, you are warmly invited to do so. All are welcome in this sacred space.
  4. During our service, we take a moment to exchange ‘The Peace’ with one another. This is an opportunity to greet each other and share a handshake. If you’re not comfortable shaking hands, that’s perfectly fine—just offer a peace sign instead. Everyone is welcome to participate in this moment of connection.

We celebrate Holy Communion every Sunday. At Central Lutheran, everyone is welcome at our Open Table, where the bread and wine—symbolizing the body and blood of Christ—are offered to all, no matter their beliefs. This table is a reflection of Christ's inclusive love, where all are embraced and welcomed.

You should dress in attire that makes you feel respectful and comfortable. There’s no strict dress code; many choose casual attire like jeans, while others prefer more formal wear. The most important thing is that you feel like your authentic self.

Yes, everyone is welcome to worship with us! We provide “busy bags” filled with activities and books to help kids focus on God in a way that suits them. Additionally, we have a children’s sermon designed for preschool and elementary-aged kids. During the children's sermon, young ones are invited to come up and sit with Pastor Veronika (or another church member) for this special message.

If you have a crying child or feel uncomfortable in the sanctuary, you are welcome to go to the education building, across from the sanctuary. In the parlor (the room with couches to the right of the door), we have speakers that play the service, so you can hear everything without distractions. There is always warm coffee in this room as well.

Feeling uncertain about your beliefs? You’re not alone—many of us share those questions! Come join us as we seek answers together, worship in community, hear God’s word, and pray for one another and our world. Everyone is welcome here!

We are a member of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA). To read more about our beliefs visit the ELCA's website.
